WELCOME TO THE SUMMER OF 1968

Novel: I AM SOMEBODY

Title taken from an old shout and response from the Civil Rights Movement of the 1960's.

The novel is nearing completion in a first draft.

I hope to hear from people who either were there in DC for that summer or were otherwise involved in Civil Rights, anti-war, all that, in the 60's or 70's.

High hopes for the novel at this point, as always with a new work.

Hopes that it will spark discussion of the issues, all of which remain. Hopes that it will cause us to reconsider those days, the lessons(if any), the experiences, the elements.

How can we understand the present or mold the future if we have not carefully examined the past?
